Greetings to those interested in our work. I thought you might like a bit of introduction as you browse through the pages to follow.
I live in Bigfork, Montana, with my wife, Nancy. We have our work studio on our property. You are welcome to visit us if you come through this beautiful part of the country. Early in life I knew my chosen profession would be in the area of art. It is a great pleasure to be able to have this dream fulfilled. An even greater blessing is to have our son, Jesse, working with us. Together we have designed and produced beautiful lighting fixtures since 1974 (except Jesse, who came on the scene in 1978!)
We have clients on four continents, and have helped light the homes of thousands, many of whom have become our friends. Our work can be seen in many resorts and lodges, in national park buildings, corporate headquarters, restaurants, churches, historical buildings, and commercial buildings. We were commissioned to build three chandeliers for President and Mrs. Bush at Camp David. Perhaps we can design and produce lighting for your special places. We work closely with home owners, architects and interior designers to custom design the lighting for specific projects.
Our work is available directly through this website, or through our ads in national magazines. I draw inspiration from themes of nature, Native American culture, the American West, and the Lewis and Clark Expedition. These themes are depicted in three dimensional form, using combinations of bronze, brass, steel, agate, glass, and jade. Some pieces are one of a kind, or of very limited production.
